Robert Harmon Fougnies, 92, of Plainfield passed away on Saturday April 23, 2016.  He was born on February 17, 1924 in Linton, Indiana to Charles and Ruth Fougnies.  He was an Army Air Corp veteran of WWII.  Before retirement, Robert was a US Postal Service employee for 27 years and served as President of the Indiana Local APWU.  Robert was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 71 years, Helen Fougnies.  He is survived by their children Cloyis Sullivan, Kathy Mickel (Phillip), Charles Fougnies (Kristi) and Christina Matthys (Paul); 11 Grandchildren and 19 Great-Grandchildren and by a brother William Fougnies and sister Geraldine Davis.  He was preceded in death by several siblings and son-in-law Michael Sullivan.  Visitation will be on Thursday April 28, 2016 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield.  A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday April 29, 2016 at St. Susanna Catholic Church, Plainfield.  Fr.
