Robert A. "Bud" Thomas, 53 of Bainbridge, passed away December 31, 2017 in St. Vincent's Hospital.  Born October 6, 1964 in Danville, he was the son of Allen Bryant and Carol Mae Shull Thomas.  He married Connie S. Poynter on May 4, 1985 in Greencastle.  Bud was an auto mechanic and had worked at Cadwell's Corner and previously at Hawley and Larmer, both in Danville.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Greencastle.  Survivors include his wife, Connie Thomas of Bainbridge; daughters, Sarah (John) Pinson, Rebekah Thomas, both of Kokomo; mother, Carol Thomas; brother, Richard Thomas and Aunt Mickey Thomas, all of Danville.  His father, brother, Ronnie Thomas and grandparents, Robert and Lillian Shull, preceded him in death.

Services will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville, with burial to follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery.  Calling will be from 5:00-7:00 pm on Monday, January 8, 2018 in the funeral home with a masonic service to begin at 6:45 pm.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hendricks County Humane Society 3033 E Main St Danville, IN 46122.
