Rita Faye Page, 76 of Danville, passed away on October 03, 2024. She was born on December 01, 1947 in Indianapolis to the late Martha Cummins Patterson and Carl Pevler. She was raised by her parents, Inez (DeBurger) and Carl Pevler. She married Raymond H. "Butch" Page on February 16, 1968 in Danville. Rita began her working career at Indianapolis Steel Warehouse for a couple of years followed by Bill Falls Realty for 18 years. She then served as the bookkeeper for the Coon Rapids Legion in Minnesota for 7 years. Rita retired from the Town of Danville Clerk Treasurer's Office in 2019 after 23 years of service. She was a member of the Danville Christian Church, Order of the Eastern Star, and the Danville American Legion Auxiliary (past President). Rita's most cherished time was spent with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also loved to cook and bake. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Butch Page of Danville; daughters, Hope Messick (Jon) of Clayton, Kim Benge (Justin) of Danville; brother, Vic Pevler (Carrie) of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; 7 grandchildren, Nic Messick (Courtney), Becky Heikens (Ethan), Ryan Oliphant, Gavin Messick (Josie Strawmyer), Jacob Benge, Kaylee Benge, Haley Benge; and 3 great grandchildren, Landry Heikens, Briley Strawmyer, Mallory Messick; and several nieces and nephews. Her parents; brothers, Gene Pevler, Rex Pevler; and sister, Carla Wiggam, preceded her in death. Services will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, October 09, 2024 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville, with burial to follow at Danville South Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the service time in the funeral home.
