Rita E. Reeves, age 81, of Plainfield passed away on September 3, 2022 in her residence with her family by her side.  She was born on March 6, 1941 in Indianapolis to the late James and Ethel Greeley Elliott.  Rita was a part time worker and a full time housewife.  She was a member of the St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Mooresville, Plainfield Eagles Lodge #3207, American Legion Post #103 in Mooresville and a diehard Green Bay Packers fan.  Survivors include her husband Henry Gregory.  Children: Joe (Stacy) Reeves, Karen (Greg) Dunigan and Denise Corbin.  Step sons: Trae (Carla) Gregory, Clay (Annette) Gregory and Logan Gregory.  Sisters: Annie Watson, Melba Covey and Francie Codalata.  Brothers: Jimmy, Charlie and Joe Elliott; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday September 6, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield.  Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday September 7, 2022 at 12 noon at St Thomas More Catholic Church 1200 N. Indiana Street Mooresville, Indiana 46158.  Entombment will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.  Memorial contributions can be made in Rita's memory to St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
