Rickey Morris, 66 of Danville, passed away June 9, 2019 in St. Vincent's Hospital, Indianapolis.  Born January 9, 1953 in Pasadena, California, he was the son of the late Otis Luther and Carrie Marie Morris.  Rickey was the Food Service Director for Aramark Corporation in Hendricks County.  He was a retired United States Army veteran.  He also retired from his second job at Kohl's last year where he made lifelong friends.  Survivors include the love of his life, Michelle Hartley of Danville; his nieces, Capri A. Coffer-Mack, Shana Coffer; nephews, Shannon Coffer and Sinclaire Coffer, all of Atlanta, Georgia.  His parents and sisters, Linda Coffer and Irish Jean Douglas, preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 pm on Saturday, June 15, 2019 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, with visitation from 1:30 pm until the service in the funeral home.  Burial will be held at a later date in Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, Kentucky, with full military honors.
