Rick L. Bennett, 67 of Muncie, passed away on May 03, 2022  at Ball Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family.  He was born on August 17, 1954 in Anderson, to the late Quinton D. and Mildred A. (Johnson) Bennett.  He married Joann Dowling on March 20, 2010 in Muncie and she preceded him in death January 13, 2021.  Joann was the love of his life.  Rick was a loyal Nascar fan, enjoyed putting together model cars and loved classic rock music.   He had a soft heart for all animals.  Survivors include his sister, Pamela Ritchhart (Edward Bashay) of California; nephew, Chris Ritchhart (Kelsey Crisp); great nephew, Mason Ritchhart; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.  A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 6, 2022 in the Maple Hill Cemetery Chapel, Plainfield.  Hall-Baker Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
