Richard Dale Harrison, 71 of Indianapolis, passed away November 07, 2020.  He was born on November 14, 1948 in Indianapolis, to the late Merlin E. and Fern (Buchanan) Harrison.  Dale worked for Allison's Transmission for over 35 years, retiring from the heat-treat department in 2012.  He attended the Franklin Road Baptist Church.   Survivors include friends that became his family, Danita O'Neal-Winters, Monique Winters, Solomon Winters, Seth Winters, Armani Winters, Dwight Winters III, Dwight Winters, Jr., Marie Thrasher; his sister, Joan Barber and a host of other family and neighbors that he saw occasionally.  His parents and brothers, Jack and John Harrison, preceded him in death.  Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 13, 2020 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville, with burial to follow in Danville South Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the service begins in the funeral home.
