Richard L. Drury, 80 of Plainfield, passed away November 18, 2018.  Born April 19, 1938 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Carl S. and Dorothy Mae Hurley Drury.  Richard was an U. S. Army veteran serving from 1961-1963.  He worked for Herff-Jones as a jewelry inspector for many years before retirement.  Richard enjoyed the outdoors and working in his yard.  Survivors include his son, Richard Dean Drury and wife, Dawn of Greenwood; 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and 2 step great-grandchildren.  His parents and brother, Robert S. Drury and sister Dorothy Jane Wagers preceded him in death.  Services will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, November 26, 2018 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, with burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Calling will be from 10:00 am until the service in the funeral home.  Pastor Perry Anderson will officiate.
