Richard Wayne Doub, 59, of New Winchester, IN, died peacefully surrounded by his children on May 17, 2025 at his home in Brownsburg, IN after a courageous battle with leukemia.

Richard was born at Hendricks Regional Health in Danville, IN on October 17, 1965 to the late Clarence and Helen Louise (Walton) Doub. He attended Danville Community High School and was proud to be a Warrior. He owned and operated Doub Cleaning Solutions for many years before serving with those on the assembly crew at United Technologies Carrier Incorporated in the years that followed.

Richard is survived by his "three boys" – Derek (Megan) Doub of New Winchester, IN, Bret (Elissa) Doub of Danville, IN, and Brandon (Allison) Doub of Danville, IN, along with nine grandchildren, two brothers, one sister, and numerous others.

Besides spending time with family and friends, Richard's most fond memories revolved around the countless hours spent coaching his sons over the years in their many sports and helping maintain the New Winchester baseball diamonds. He often shared that he was most proud of the men his sons turned out to be. As a hobbyist, Richard enjoyed raising pigs and tinkering around in the world of racing. He leaves many great memories behind with those who knew and loved him – the least of which involve referees, vigilante justice, and fire extinguishers. He was a member of Northview Christian Church in Danville, IN.

A celebration of life will take place at Northview Christian Church (623 IN-39, Danville, IN 46122) on Monday, May 26 at 10 AM with time to visit with family immediately following. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northview Christian Church or to your family's favorite Danville youth sports organization on Richard's behalf.
