Ralph W. Nichols Sr., age 92, passed away peacefully on the morning of July 13, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.

Born on November 3, 1932, in Lafayette, Tennessee, Ralph was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He was a veteran, a storyteller, a man of strong values and even stronger love. Known for his kindness, humor, and devotion to his family, Ralph touched the lives of many and left behind a legacy of warmth and strength.

He is survived by his wife Colleen, sons Ralph Jr. (Barbara) and Tom (Cheryl), four grandchildren—Stephanie (Tyler), Derek (Lindsey), Margret, and Elizabeth—and four great-grandchildren—Aiden, Jemmalene, Acie, and Arie—along with many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly. We thank everyone for their kind words, support, and memories during this time.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 19, 2025 at 11 a.m. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Greenwood, Indiana.  Visitation will be held on Friday July 18, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
