Philip P. Schmittou, 39 of Danville, passed away February 08, 2020.  He was born on April 17, 1980 in Wayne, Michigan, to Kenneth D. and Wendy K. (Stevens) Schmittou.  Philip was a 1998 graduate of Avon High School and a member of the Faith Baptist Church of Avon.  He loved to play the guitar, sing to his mother and was an awesome chef.  Survivors include his parents; sister, Roberta K. Schmittou Alder (Kyle) of Indianapolis; his beloved 8 year old niece, Vivian Alder, 5 year old nephew, Jonathan Alder; grandmother, Ella Mae Schmittou of Avon and aunts, uncles and cousins.  Services will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, February 14, 2020 in the Faith Baptist Church of Avon with burial to follow in Danville South Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 pm on Thursday, February 13, 2020 in the church.  Contributions may be made to the family in order to offset funeral expenses.  Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, is in charge of the arrangements.
