Peggy Lou Dean, 87, lifelong resident of Plainfield, passed away on March 6, 2025 in her residence. She was born on April 21, 1937, in Plainfield to the late Leroy and Pauline Davis Friel. She was a graduate of Plainfield High School class of 1955, and graduate from Methodist Hospital School of Nursing. Peggy was a registered nurse for 40 years at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.  She was a member of the Second Chance Church in Plainfield.  Peggy enjoyed scrap booking, crocheting, and church bible study classes.

Funeral services will be on Monday March 10, at 1 p.m. in the Second Chance Church, 149 Vestal Rd. Plainfield, Indiana.  Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.  Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until services in the church.

Survivors include her children: Lynette St. John (Robert), Cheri Smith (Terry) and Melanie Dean.  Brother: Leroy Friel Jr.  Sister: Donna Sharp (John).  14 Grandchildren, 26 Great children and 1 Great Great Grandchild.   She was preceded in death by her daughter: Gay Neal and sister: Marjorie Scotten.
