Patricia A. Ellis, 89, Plainfield, passed away on November 12, 2016 in Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on April 25, 1927 in St. Louis, Missouri to Henry A. and Mary C. Royse Sum. She grew up in Washington, Indiana. She was the widow of Leeroy D. Ellis.  She previously worked at Haase Shoes and Sarah's Children's Wear in Brownsburg. She was a member of St. Susanna Catholic Church in Plainfield. Calling hours will be at Hall Baker Funeral Home in Plainfield from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday November 18, 2016 with Rosary at 7:30 p.m.; additional calling on Saturday November 19, 2016 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral mass will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday November 19, 2016 at the funeral home with Father Glenn O' Connor officiating.  Graveside services will be on Monday November 21, 2016 at 11 a.m. in St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Washington, Indiana.  Survivors include her children: James A. Ellis; Timothy Ellis and wife Lynne; and, Patrick Ellis and wife Menir. 4 Grandchildren also survive.
