Patricia A. “Pat” Shipley, age 77, of Plainfield, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2026, in Indianapolis. She was on born February 6, 1949, in Frankfort, Indiana to the late Robert M. Shipley and Helen M. Miller Shipley. Pat was a buyer for Monarch Beverage in Indianapolis for several years before her retirement.

Pat was an outstanding High School athlete in track and field that continued into her college career at Indiana State University.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time in her book clubs.

She was an avid golfer, playing in leagues at Deer Creek Golf Club in Clayton and Eagle Creek Golf Club in Indianapolis. In her younger days she played competitive softball and would not miss an Indiana Fever game.

Visitation will be held on Friday August 14, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield.

She is survived by her brother: Kenneth Shipley of Kansas City, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her Parents and her longtime partner Priscilla Dillow.
