Norman Thomas, 69 of Indianapolis, passed away May 16, 2016.  Born June 8, 1946 in Indianapolis, he was the son of George and Dorothy Muncy Thomas.  He married Norma Austin, who preceded him in death in 2008.  Norman worked for Roadway for 30 years, retiring in 2000.  Survivors include his son Norman Thomas II; daughters, Karla Didelot (Frank), Kara Hamby (Joe); brother, LeRoy Thomas; sister, Janet Fall (Bob) and 6 grandchildren.  Services will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, May 26, 2016 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, with burial to follow in West Ridge Park Cemetery, Indianapolis.  Calling will be from 4:00-8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 in the funeral home.  Contributions may be made to St. Susanna Catholic Church 1210 E Main St Plainfield, IN 46168.
