Norma Jean Knarr, 89 of Danville, passed away on September 14, 2024 in Avon, IN. She was born on February 26, 1935 in Indianapolis to the late Blanche (Ogle) and Paul Jarboe. Jean married Ronald Leon Knarr on June 11, 1955 in Indianapolis. She worked for Holy Cross Parish and School for 40 years. She then worked at Miracle Place for 6 years retiring in 2015. Jean was a member of Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Danville.
Survivors include her dear husband of 69 years, Ronald Knarr of Danville; children, Sister M. Christa, MC (Tanya) Knarr of Gary, IN; Barbara Lanari (Steve) of McKinney, TX; Katrina Knarr of Danville; Felice Bullard (Tim) of Culver City, CA; Dorian Knarr (Meg) of Parkton, MD; Nelleke Knarr of Grand Rapids, MI; 10 grandchildren, Paul (Mary), Alex (Courtney), Dominic (Apoorva), and Maria Lanari, Ethan, Caroline, Benjamin and Thomas Knarr, Emily and Andrew (Annie) Teall; and 5 great grandchildren, Agnes, Vincent and Anthony Lanari, Michael Lanari and Lily Lanari.
Her parents and brothers, Paul R. and Edmond Jarboe, preceded her in death. Mass will be celebrated at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Danville, IN on September 19th at 11 a.m. preceded by visitation at 10 a.m. On-line condolences may be left at Baker Funeral Home: https://www.bakerfuneralservice.com/ .
