Norma Jean Hoffmann, 87 of Avon, passed away November 27, 2018.  Born March 31, 1931 in Veedersburg, she was the daughter of Ollie N. and Mildred Cronkhit Day.  She married Earl Hoffmann on August 24, 1974 in Indianapolis.  Norma worked as a waitress for Fireside South in Indianapolis for 31 years, before retiring.  She was a member of the Ladies auxiliary for both the American Legion Post #145 and the VFW Post #6128.  Survivors include her husband, Earl of Avon; stepdaughter, Vicki Lynn Pieratt of Zionsville; sister, Donna Clawson of Crawfordsville; 2 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  Her parents; daughter, Beverly Revell and sisters, Beverly Lynch and Bonnie Underwood, preceded her in death.
