Nina Marie Burnett, age 85 of Plainfield, passed away peacefully at home on December 15, 2025. She was born on July 4, 1940, in Plainfield, Indiana to the late Everett and Josephine Archer Crowe. She married Charles "Charlie" Burnett on August 31, 1957; he preceded her in death. Nina was a forklift operator and security for Target Warehouse before her retirement. She was a member of Crossroads Church of Avon where she volunteered as a greeter. Nina was always first to strike up a pleasant conversation and had a way of spreading cheer wherever she went. Nina enjoyed canning, fishing, bingo and crocheting blankets for her family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday December 19, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield. Additional visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Saturday December 20, 2025, in the funeral home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday December 20, 2025, at 11 a.m. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.

Survivors include her daughter- Vicki Jo Lee (Tim) 4 Grandchildren and 3 Great- grandchildren.

Nina was preceded in death by her daughter: Sherry Lee Growden; and siblings, Darlene Sue Lucas, Beverly Ann Crowe, Gerald Everett Crowe and Bobby Joe Crowe.
