Nellie J. Goldsby, 87 of Plainfield, passed away May 13, 2021.  She was born on April 23, 1934 in Indianapolis, to the late Benton Franklin "Frank" and Ina Estelle (Walters) Brown.  She married Donald Albert Goldsby on December 24, 1952 in Indianapolis.  Nellie graduated from Manual High School and then attended IVY Tech.  She was a licensed practical nurse and worked many years at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis.  She enjoyed flowers, gardening and reading.  Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Donald; son, Dale (Lori) Goldsby of Indianapolis; daughter, Donna (Jim) Adams of Avon; brother, Jerry W. (Kay) Brown of Thorntown; and grandchildren, Dr. Kaitlin Goldsby-Bezek (Alex) of Charlotte, N. C., Lindsey Adams of Los Angeles, CA., and Melissa Adams Every (Michael) of the United Kingdom.  Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, is handling the arrangements.  Private services will be held with burial to follow in Clayton Cemetery.
