Matthew Ross Wamsley, 34 of Danville, passed away March 15, 2021.  He was born on June 28, 1986 in Indianapolis to Mark A. Wamsley and the late Carolyn Sue Cave.  Matt graduated from Danville Community High School in 2004.  He was a musician and loved playing the drums.  He had previously worked for Maple Hill Cemetery, Wagler Custom Homes and also at FedEx.  He was a member of Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Danville.  Survivors include his father, Mark; brother, Jon M. Wamsley of Danville and grandfather, Leland "Pint" Wamsley of Mooresville.  A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, March 22, 2021 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville, with burial to follow in Clayton Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the service time in the funeral home. All guests attending visitation and/or services will be required to wear a mask at all times in an effort to promote a safe environment.
