Mary Louise Thurnall, 90 of Danville, passed away on October 18, 2022 in her residence. She was born on May 27, 1932 in Danville, to the late Louise (Pickett) and Earl Ralph Wolfenbarger. Mary worked at I G A in Danville for over 30 years retiring as manager of the Deli. She was a member of the Danville Christian Church, the Moose Lodge in Greencastle, V. F. W. in New Winchester and very active with the Boy Scouts of America. She was one of only a few to receive the Silver Fawn award. Survivors include her son, Charles Eugene Thurnall (Jeannie) of Danville; daughters, Clara Lou Freese of Greencastle, Janet Cummings (Ray) of Danville; stepsons, Michael, David Thurnall, both of Chicago; Harry Thurnall of Indianapolis; stepdaughters, Brenda Edick of Kentucky, Anita Childers of Danville, Barbara Lair of Greencastle; 27 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Her parents; husbands, Floyd Thurnall, Dean Thurnall; son, Ralph Thurnall; and stepson, Dean Thurnall, Jr. preceded her in death. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2022 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville, with burial to follow in the Danville South Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the service time in the funeral home.
