Mary Lou Fisher, age 86, of Clayton passed away on June 23, 2025 in Hendricks Regional Health in Danville.  She was born on December 18, 1938 in Stilesville, Indiana to the late Lewis Thorpe and Mary Pridemore Thorpe Bell.  She married Buddy Lee Fisher on May 15, 1959 in Stilesville; he preceded her in death in 2020. Mary Lou was a medical assistant/office manager for Dr. Haggard for several years before her retirement.

She was a member of the Hazelwood Christian Church, loved spending time with her family, was an avid reader and loved her Dachshund dogs.

Calling hours will be held on Friday June 27, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield.  Funeral services will be on Saturday June 28, 2025 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Steve Ranson officiating.  Burial will follow in Stilesville Cemetery.

Survivors include: Her children: Mark Fisher and Terri Jean (Ron) Helms. 5 Grandchildren and 4 Great-grandchildren.   She was preceded in death by her husband Buddy, son Mike Fisher, sister Jo Ann Hacker and her special dogs Sissy and Helga.
