Mary G. Dodson, 88 of Plainfield, passed away on January 26, 2024.  She was born on July 25, 1935 in Monticello, Wayne County, Kentucky, to the late Tennie (Decker) and James Bryan Keeton.  Mary married Paul E. Dodson on June 21, 1980 in Indianapolis and he preceded her in death on October 25, 2018.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Danville.  Survivors include her daughters, Phyllis Pyatt of Plainfield, Debbie Gibbs of Avon; stepsons, Mark A. (Lisa) Dodson of Martinsville, David Dodson of Maine; brothers, James, Robert Keeton; sisters, Elizabeth, Betty, Rita, Penny; 8 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.  Her parents; husband; brothers, John and Frank; and sisters, Ida, Polly, and Della, preceded her in death.  Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, with burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the service time in the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Faith Baptist Church 3860 E Main St Danville, IN 46122.
