Mary L. Gunnell age 76 of Plainfield passed away on February 28, 2016 in her residence.  She was born on February 1, 1940 in Jackson, Illinois to Marcus French and Anita Kemp Hammer.  She was the widow of Joseph Bowser.  She married William Gunnell on October 5, 1996; he survives.  She was the Office Manager/Accountant for J.P. Lahr Roofing for several years before her retirement. Funeral services will take place at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2016 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, with Rev. Charlie Paxton officiating. Burial will be in West Ridge Park Cemetery.  Calling hours will be held two hours prior to service in the funeral home.   Survivors include her husband William Gunnell. Children: Kim Branham, Anthony Taylor, Dannetta Elsey, Amanda Wilson, Cassie Bowser and Joe Bowser.  15 Grandchildren and 12 Great grandchildren.
