Martin P. Kanzer, 83 of Coatesville, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2022 at The Gathering Together in Plainfield, Indiana. He was born on July 26, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Edward and Harriet (Ruszeko) Kanzer. Martin married Karla Lee Mueller on October 24, 1964 in Chicago. He was a printer for many years before retirement. Martin enjoyed gardening, fishing, woodworking, and hanging out in his garage. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Lee Kanzer of Coatesville; children, Jamie Steinmetz (Dick) of Avon, Mark Kanzer of Prescott, AZ.; son-in-law, Andy Ooley of Valparaiso; grandchildren, Jill and Richie Steinmetz, Andrew, Kyle and Daniel Ooley, Josh, Kayley and Levi Roberts. His parents, daughter, Karla Ooley, and sister, Delphine Long, preceded him in death. A memorial luncheon will be held on August 24, at Chandlers Chophouse in Schaumburg, Illinois from 11:30am to 3:30pm.
