Martha A. Corrie, 76, of Plainfield, IN, is in the arms of our savior, Jesus Christ.  Martha died peacefully on September 9, 2019.  She was born in Plainfield, Indiana on January 26, 1943 to the late Mary (Feagans) and Paul Corrie.  Martha Graduated from Plainfield High School, Marian College and Indiana University.

Martha loved reading and shared that love with others by dedicating her career to teaching.  After retiring, she volunteered in both the elementary school and the Grandparent program.

Martha was a Master Gardener who loved flowers, music and spending time with her family.

Martha is survived by her brother, David Corrie and her daughter Lynn (Kevin) Russell.  She had abounding love for her grandchildren Caitlyn, Emily, Claire and Lauren.  She also leaves many wonderful nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her sister Linda and Brother Alan.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday September 12, 2019 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield.  A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday September 13, 2019 in St. Susanna Catholic Church, with burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.  In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Susanna School 1212 East Main Street Plainfield, In. 46168.  Online condolences may be made at www.bakerfuneralservice.com
