Martha "Mae" Wilson, 83 of Avon, passed away on December 11, 2022.  She was born on May 01, 1939 in Lejunior, Harlan County, Kentucky, to the late Allie Frances (Husky) and George William Carr.  Mae worked for the Avon High School Cafeteria, Woodmizer, and retired from Public Service Indiana.  She loved flowers,  watching westerns, bowling, and gardening.  Survivors include her daughters, Sandra Kay Curran (Robert) of Avon, Brenda Jean McKinney (Tracy) of Bainbridge, LaDonna Rae Wilson (Dean) of Ladoga; brothers, Arnold Lee Carr, John Sester (Wanda); sister, Wilma Callahan; 6 grandchildren, Jason Curran (Stephanie), Crystal Hoffar (Ian), Tyler McKinney (Jamie), Kala Tigert (Joey), Stephen Wilson (Nicole), James Michael Wilson (Shannon); and 16 great-grandchildren.  Her parents and siblings, Geraldine Pickerell, Walter Setzer and Ruby Ann Carr, preceded her in death.  Visitation will be from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville.  Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home with burial to follow in the Danville South Cemetery.
