Marie P. Griffin, 93, Plainfield, passed away June 13, 2017.  She was born February 23, 1924 in Louisville KY, to the late Shellie (Sr.) and Edna (Diehl) Richardson.  Marie met her loving husband Gerald (Jerry) in 1950 when they both worked at the same electronics repair shop in Louisville KY.  They were married on April 10, 1953.  After their marriage, she was a homemaker.   She was active in her daughter's school activities, including being a Girl Scout den mother.  Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family and all of the many generations of grandchildren.  She also loved reading, crocheting, painting crafts, and doing games and puzzles.  She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Plainfield.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jerry, her brother Shellie Richardson Jr, and her sister Florence Patterson.   Survivors include her daughters, Cheryl (Fritz) Gantner and Diane (Bob) Goffinett, 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
