Marianne “Marty” Angrick, 80 of Danville, passed away on February 01, 2026. She was born on December 08, 1945 in Indianapolis to the late Arthur Frank and Margaret Alice (Butsch) Wegehoft. Marianne married Linden “Shorty” Ottinger on May 15, 1989 in Brown County, Indiana, and he preceded her in death on February 19, 2013.
Marianne worked as an Employment Consultant “Job Coach” for Sycamore Services, Inc. for 30 years retiring in 2019. She was passionate about helping her clients find a job and several worked many years at their placement.
She was vibrant and full of life whether watching her daughters play softball (years ago) or playing different games with her grandchildren, Marty enjoyed life. She loved to dance, loved to cruise (19 times to be exact) and loved watching the Pacers, too. She enjoyed being outdoors and spent many hours gardening and riding her horses in the country. Marty also enjoyed spending time at the family cabin in Brown County and with Shorty in their travel trailer named “Arti”. She cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren and will be sorely missed.
Survivors include her daughters, Amy Williams (Clay), Melissa Himsel (Matt), both of Lizton and grandchildren, Jackson and Molly Williams, Makenna and Morgan Himsel. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, David Wegehoft.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Friday, February 06, 2026 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville, with Pastor Chuck Jordan officiating.
