Margaret R. Grunert, age 100, of Plainfield passed away on November 14, 2023 in Plainfield Healthcare Center.  She was born on August 1, 1923 in Rosedale, Indiana to the late William H. Rukes and Edna Petty Rukes.  She was the widow of George Grunert.  Margaret was an accountant for Allison's Transmission for several years before her retirement.  She loved to work in her flower gardens and to play cards.  Survivors include her step children Jeannine Rogers, Thomas (Sue) Grunert and Rick Grunert.  12 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grand Children, and 1 Great Great Grandchild.  Several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her siblings Dorothy Harrison, Marion Rukes and Myron Rukes.   Visitation will be held on Friday November 17, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in Hall-Baker funeral Home, Plainfield.  Graveside services will be held on Friday November 17, 2023 in Miami Memorial Park Cemetery in Covington, Ohio.
