Lynda G. Morgan, 52 of Danville, passed away on June 02, 2024 at I. U. Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.  She was born on June 14, 1971 in Phoenix, Arizona, to the late Vera Oleta (Holt) and Reverend James W. Warren.  Her father was the minister at Life Temple Church in Clayton for many years.  Lynda married Brian S. Morgan on June 20, 1992 in Indianapolis.

She was the office manager at A&A Machine Svc, Inc.  She previously had worked for the Hendricks County Republican newspaper for many years and she and her husband, Brian, also produced the Hendricks County Monthly magazine through the Republican office.  Lynda was a member and past president of the American Legion Post #118 Ladies Auxiliary.  She was in charge of the Texas Hold'em poker tournaments for many years.

Lynda had a passion for young people and she and Brian often referred to their home as the Morgan's House of Wayward teens.  Her favorite saying or Lynda-ism was "don't break the law while breaking the law".   Many young people heard this many times.

Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Brian Morgan of Danville; sons, Chase Warren Morgan, Colby Scott Morgan, both of Danville, Russell Robinson; niece, Jennifer Lynn (Watson) Walker; nephew, Clinton James Watson; and one sister, Lisa.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 pm on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at West Bridge Church 1521 S CR 75 Danville, IN 46122.  Funeral services will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the church.  Baker Funeral Home, Danville, is handling the arrangements.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Legion Post #118 Ladies Auxiliary 846 IN-39 Danville, IN 46122.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Lynda's birthday, June 14, 2024, starting at 7:00 p.m.  at the American Legion Post #118 in Danville.
