Lucy Jane Neild Jones, 95 of Plainfield, passed away March 9, 2016.  She was born September 21, 1920 in Georgetown, Illinois to the late Fred W. and Goldie Lacey Neild.  She married Fred Jones and he preceded her in death in 1985.  Lucy was an office cashier for Galyan's Supermarkets for 17 years, retiring in 1977.  She was a member of Plainfield Christian Church.  She enjoyed playing games and was a great storyteller with many memories to share.  Survivors include her daughter, Margaret (Jerry) Bayse; son, Fred "Bill" (Barbara) Jones; 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandsons and 1 great granddaughter.  Her parents, husband, daughters, Martha Jones, Marcia Sue Jones and siblings, Richard, John and Ralph Neild, Viola Allen, preceded her in death.  Services will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 19, 2016 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, with inurnment to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Calling will be from 11:00 am until the service in the funeral home.  Contributions may be made to the Plainfield Christian Church Children's Programs 800 N Dan Jones Road Plainfield, IN  46168.
