Lois Jordan, age 98, of Avon, passed away on August 24, 2022 in Plainfield.  She was born on January 10, 1924 in Salem, Indiana to the Late Elmer and Lula Boling Winslow.  She married Melvin Jordan in 1944; he preceded her in death in 1983.  She worked in the stock room at LS Ayres in downtown Indianapolis for 23 years before her retirement.  Lois was a member of the Avon United Methodist Church.  Survivors include her son in law Kenneth Ford.  Grandchildren: Brandi Hicks (Danny) and Kandi Berg (Stew).  3 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her daughter Pamela Ford, Brothers Lloyd, Harold, Dick and sisters Agnes and Elva.  Funeral services will be held on Monday August 29, 2022 at 2 p.m. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield.  Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.  Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until services in the funeral home.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Gathering Together 147 North Center Street Plainfield, Indiana 46168.  Online condolences can be made at www.bakerfuneralservice.com
