Linda D. Evans, 69 of Danville, passed away on December 23, 2021 at Hendricks Regional Health.  She was born on March 19, 1952 in Greencastle to Virginia Pell Phillips and the late Leon Phillips.  Linda married John W. Evans on June 18, 1983 in Danville and he preceded her in death on April 12, 2013.  She worked in the healthcare industry, both as a nurse and also as an administrator.  Linda enjoyed gardening, working outdoors, and refurbishing antiques. Survivors include her children, Doug (Kim) Evans of Indianapolis, Emily (Danny) Dugan of Cape Coral, Florida; mother, Virginia Phillips; brother, Ed Phillips, both of Greencastle; brother-in-law, Tim Bullard of Indianapolis; and grandchildren, Devin Courchaine, Jordan and Savannah Evans, Johnathan and Michael Dugan.  Her sisters, Benita Phillips and Melody Bullard, also preceded her in death.  A Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00-6:00 pm on Thursday, December 30, 2021 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville.  Online condolences may be made at www.bakerfuneralservice.com
