Linda Kay Meadows of Indianapolis passed away January 21, 2020, at the age of 64.  She was born on March 18, 1955, in Indianapolis to Joyce and late James Leapley.  Linda went to Ball State University where she earned her teaching license as an elementary teacher. She began teaching in 1977 at Harris Academy in Brownsburg. She retired from teaching after 22 years. Linda had an amazing artistic ability from drawing to knitting. Linda is survived by her mother, brother, niece, and great-niece. Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life visitation from 5:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, January 30, 2020, at Baker Funeral Home in Danville, IN.  In lieu of flowers monetary contributions may be made in her name to Indiana State Teacher's Association (http://www.ista-in.org) or American Heart Association (http://www.heart.org).
