Leslie R. Arndt, 77 of Danville, passed away June 10, 2020.  He was born on June 20, 1942 in Columbus, Nebraska, to the late Raymond William and Luella (Hellbusch) Arndt.  He married Shirley A. Johnson on August 07, 1965 in Omaha, NE.  Leslie worked as a buyer and superintendent for the Younkers department store for many years.  After retirement he worked as a school bus driver.  He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Danville.  He was very patriotic and enjoyed NASCAR and Indy Car racing.  Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Shirley Arndt of Danville; son, Andrew L. Arndt (Kristen) of Washington State; daughter, Stacy A. Wynn (Dennis) of Danville; and 4 grandchildren, Joel A. and Cailyn Arndt, Jackson and Dominick Wynn.  His parents, brother, Roland Arndt and sister, Lois Moersen, preceded him in death.  Services will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 13, 2020 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville, with burial to follow in Danville South Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the service in the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association 50 E 91st St #100 Indianapolis, IN 46240.  Online condolences may be made at www.bakerfuneralservice.com
