Laura Louise Winks, age 96, of Plainfield, passed away on June 22, 2022 in her residence.  She was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on July 23, 1925 to the late Joseph and Emma Kalin Kalen. She was the widow of Wendell Winks, Sr. who preceded her in death in 2004.  Laura worked at the Terre Haute Water Company, Borden's Milk Company and was a homemaker.  She was a longtime member of St. Susanna Catholic Church and the church women's club.  Visitation will be on Sunday, June 26, 2022 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield.  Funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 27, 2022 at St. Susanna Catholic Church.  Graveside services will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery in Terre Haute.  Survivors include her children: Doug (Gail Keen) Winks, Karla Winks (Jason Coleman), Wendell E.
