Kristi L. Tankersley, age 49 of Plainfield, passed away on July 8, 2020 in her residence.  She was born on August 1, 1970 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Robert James and Carol Lynne Myers Ward.  Kristi was a dog sitter.  She loved animals, especially her dogs, crafting, camping, photography and painting.  Survivors include her husband, Tom Tankersley; daughter, Amanda Sewell; son, Daniel Munroe; stepson, Michael Tankersley; sister, Kimberly A. Ward; brother, Steven Ward; nieces, Jeffie Bowen, Jami Knoedler, Allie Ward, Rebecca Ward; her loving aunts, Susan Mobley, Terri Wrobleski and several cousins.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Maryland.   Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, is in charge of arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hendricks County Humane Society.
