Kevin O’Shea Sabo, 75 of Plainfield, passed away on July 10, 2026. He was born on June 5, 1951, in Pontiac, MI, to the late Mary Theresa Cooper Sabo and Andrew Sabo.

Kevin was a devoted and loved son, brother, and father, who will be greatly missed. Kevin attained his Bachelor’s degree from Indiana State University. He worked at Allison Transmission and General Motors in Indianapolis for over 30 years retiring in 2011. In his free time, he was an avid golfer, loved to grill out, swim, and keep his mind sharp watching Jeopardy and doing crossword puzzles. Kevin was a jokester and loved making his friends and family laugh and smile.

Survivors include his children, Brian Sabo of Plainfield, Patrick Sabo (Mary Stroh) of Columbus, Meghan Sabo of Plainfield; siblings, Michelle Porter of Plainfield, Robert Sabo (Christine) of Savage, MN; brother-in-law, Gene Plunkett of Plainfield; grandchildren, Emison and Everett Sabo; and many nieces and nephews. Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Margaret Plunkett.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield. Private burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
