Kevin Edward Kemp, age 62, Terre Haute, Formerly of Plainfield passed away peacefully in his residence on November 9, 2025.  He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on December 21, 1962 to the late Clarence and Betty Charles Kemp. He married Cheryl Hedden on July 13, 2025; she survives. He was a mechanic for US 40 garage. Kevin was an avid race car driver.  He enjoyed to fish, camp, music, travel and was an Indianapolis Colts fan.

Visitation will be held on Sunday November 16, 2025 from 12 noon to 2 p.m. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home.   Graveside services will be held on Monday November 17, 2025 at 1 p.m. in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.  For those attending the graveside, please meet in the funeral home parking lot at 12:30 p.m. for the procession to the cemetery which will include Kevin's racecar.

Following the services on Sunday there will be a celebration of Kevin's life held at the home of Terri and Gregg Riser in Greencastle.

Survivors include his wife Cheryl Kemp.  Daughter: Sydney Kemp.  Step Children: Corey Cash (Brittney), Chasity Harvey (James) and Heather Gonzalez (Leo). Brother: Jim Kemp (Dorothy).  6 Grandchildren and the Grand Kitty's. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister: Barbara Jean.
