Kenneth R. Browning, 80 of Plainfield, passed away on August 24, 2017.  He was born on October 22, 1936 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Merle and Isobel Smith Browning.  He married Evelyn Ober; she survives.  After beginning his career in retail pharmacy, Ken was a pharmacist for Franciscan St. Francis Hospital in Mooresville for several years before retiring in 2002.  He was a member of the Plainfield Elks Lodge 2186 and the Indiana Pharmaceutical Association.  Calling hours will be on Monday, August 28, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield.  Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Jon Lilly officiating.  Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.  Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Browning; daughter, Becky Hodson and husband, Chuck; son, Jeff Browning and wife, Elizabeth; grandchildren, Jordan, Nathan, and Amanda Hodson, Sam and Ben Browning.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Dravet Syndrome Foundation P.O.
