Kathryn Marie Thompson, age 100, of Plainfield passed away on May 5, 2025 in Plainfield.  She was born on April 5, 1925 in New Ross, Indiana to William and Velma Ralston Duncan.  She was the widow of Lawrence E. Thompson who preceded her in death in 2017.  She was a member of the Raccoon Methodist Church, Putnam County, Indiana.  She was a bookkeeper for several years for Mooresville Savings Bank and Bud & Bloom Florist. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Friday May 9, 2025 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield. Burial will follow in Roachdale Cemetery, Roachdale, Indiana.  Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until service time in the funeral home. Survivors include her daughters: Patty Harvey (David) and Linda Van Aken (David). 6 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her children: Carolyn Fulkerson, Phil Thompson and 8 siblings.
