Karen Sue (Chapman) Jones, 73 of Avon, passed away on April 24, 2017 at Hendricks Regional Health.   She was born on December 6, 1943 in Passaic, New Jersey to the late Gilbert and Catherine Barrett Chapman.  She married David Jones; he preceded her in death.  Karen was an administrative assistant for several years for General Motors before her retirement.  Survivors include her children: Brent Taylor (Terri), Brenda (Taylor) Thompson (Robert).  Brothers: Kyle (Pam) and Mark Chapman.  Sisters: Cathy Schuster (Steven), Lynne Pride (Bob) and a twin, Sharon Marshall, who preceded her in death.  6 Grandchildren and 3 Greatgrandchildren.  A Celebration of Life Gathering will take place on April 30. 2017 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Washington Township Park Pavilion Center 435 Whipple Lane in Avon.  Please make memorial contributions to Hendricks County Humane Society 3033 E.
