Julie A. Scharlau age 52, of Brownsburg, passed away unexpectedly on February 5, 2023.  Julie was born on September 7, 1970 in Indianapolis to the late John William "Bill" and Laura May Proctor Schindler. Julie married Michael Scharlau on October 30, 1993.  She was a 1988 graduate of Brownsburg High School.   She was a development associate for 21 years for the Central Indiana Community Foundation (CICF). She was a member of the Summit Life Church in Pittsboro.  Calling hours will be on Saturday February 11, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield.  A funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. with Rev. Jon Pierson officiating.
