Jon. N. Pope, age 83, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on December 26, 2025 in Indianapolis.  He was born on April 4, 1942 in Indianapolis to the late Melbourne and Meredith Welker Pope.  Jon was in Finance and Repossession Dept for Lenders Recoveries for several years before his retirement.  Jon was an avid golfer, a member of the Lawrenceville Country Club, Moose Lodge and the Lawrenceville Elks Lodge # 1208.

Survivors include his Children: Randy Pope (Anita), Julianne Stanley and J. Pope.  Brother: Don Pope. Sister: Sue Long (Donnie).  6 Grandchildren and 6 Greatgrandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his sister Margie Little.

Private services were held.  Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield is handling arrangements.
