Jon M. Hays, Sr., 51 of Danville, passed away May 1, 2017.  Born May 24, 1965 in Danville, he was the son of Harrell and Gynith Nees Hays.  Jon married Kristin M. Kominiarek on September 18, 1992 in Las Vegas.  Mr. Hays was an Environmental Specialist for Duke Energy.  Jon loved helping with the Danville Marching Band family and camping with his family.  Survivors include his wife, Kristin Hays; children, Abigail R. Hays and Jon M. Hays, Jr.; sisters, Kelly (Dale) Reed and Maggie Jolly (Bob Benardis).  A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 6, 2017 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville.  Calling will be from 11:00 am until the service.  Contributions may be made to the Abigail and Jon Hays, Jr. College Fund c/o Baker Funeral Home 387 E Broadway St Danville, IN 46122.
