John Samuel Selch, 59 of Avon, passed away on December 29, 2022 at the Franciscan Hospice House in Indianapolis.  He was born on March 25, 1963 in Danville, Indiana, to the late John W. and Harriet (Bogan) Selch.  Sam was a 1981 graduate of Avon High School and a member of the Bartlett Chapel United Methodist Church in Avon.  He was a carpenter and enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and off-roading.  Sam was always ready for the next adventure.  Survivors include his daughters, Kelsie Selch of Colorado Springs, CO., and Brianna Selch of Indianapolis.  Visitation will be from 3:00-6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 04, 2022 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, with the funeral service to begin at 6:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Misty Eyes Animal Center 616 S CR 800 E Avon, IN 46123 or at www.mistyeyes.org
