Jimmie L. Beck, age 81, of Plainfield, passed away on December 4, 2025, in Plainfield, Indiana. He was born on March 22, 1944, in Lebanon, Indiana, to the late Howard and Dorothy (Quick) Beck. On October 13, 1966, he married Marty Allen Beck, who survives.

Jimmie honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1964 to 1968, including service in Vietnam. He was a devoted member of City View Church in Avon. Throughout his life, he worked as truck driver for many years. After a severe stroke in 1993, he faced his disabilities with unwavering strength and determination. Despite these challenges, he continued to serve his church and community.

Visitation is at 11:00 am and services at 1:00 pm Tuesday December 9, 2025 at City View Church, 275 Shiloh Crossing Dr., Avon, Indiana.

Burial, with full military rites, will follow at the chapel in Maple Hill Cemetery in Plainfield.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years Marty Beck.  Daughter: Kelly Garrison (Larry Jr.).  Sisters: Theresa Wheatley and Sue Bullington.  Grandchildren: Larry 3rd (Maycee), Alexia (Jacob Sr.) and Brandon (Kayla).  Great-grandchildren: Sabel Jean, Waylon, Paisey, Jacob Jr., Kohen, Emmitt and Axon.
