Obituary

Jerry M. Hutto, Sr., 69 of Shelburn, passed away on December 06, 2023.  He was born on March 06, 1954 in Indianapolis to the late Lillian Mae (Rogers) and William Oscar "Bill" Hutto.  Jerry married Roxanne M. Bunch on April 05, 1975 in Indianapolis.  He loved locomotives and worked at Penn Central, Conrail, and Indiana Railroad for 34 years, retiring in 2011 as a locomotive mechanic and an electrician.  Jerry enjoyed any type of racing, (dirt bikes, sprint cars, etc.) fishing, hunting, and farming.  He loved the outdoors, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Roxanne M. Hutto of Shelburn; son, Jerry M. Hutto, Jr. (Crystal) of Clayton; daughter, Heather M. Morrical (Troy) of Danville; siblings, Terry Hutto (Nancy) of Camby, Larry Hutto (Betty) of Poland, Susan Cox of Eminence, Peggy Hutto of Plainfield; 6 grandchildren, Desiree Gilbert, Devin Gilbert (Katie), Hannah Kays, Taylor Hutto, Hunter Kays, Josie Morrical; and 2 great grandchildren, Kinsley and Paisley Gilbert.  Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Monday, December 11, 2023 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville, with burial to follow in Center Valley Cemetery, Clayton.  Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the service time in the funeral home.  Pastor Jonathan Lilly will officiate.
