Jere L. Crawley, 78 of Indianapolis, passed away April 26, 2019.  Born April 8, 1941 in Indianapolis, he was the son of the late Orville and Mingle McCammack Crawley.  Jere graduated from Danville High School in 1959 and attended Indiana State University.  He married Mary Kay Stephenson on July 26, 1969 in Indianapolis.  Jere worked for Lester Sales Company for over 40 years, retiring in 2011 as Vice President of Electrical Sales. He was a member of Phi Delta Kappa Fraternity, Gamma Theta Chapter, Western Star Lodge #26 F & AM, Danville American Legion Post #118 and a former National Guardsman.  Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Mary Kay Crawley; son, Chad E. Crawley; daughter, Cathy Crawley, all of Indianapolis; nephew, Jere Crawley; grandchildren, Ira Crawley, Iyana Bills, Journey Crawley and Isabella Roland.  His parents and brother, Jake Crawley, preceded him in death.
